Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[18F]MK-3328 is a radioactive PET tracer developed for the visualization and quantification of amyloid plaques in the brain. It binds with high affinity to human amyloid plaques with an IC50 of 10.5 nM. The tracer demonstrates favorable kinetics with high brain uptake and good washout in normal rhesus monkey PET imaging studies. It shows low in vivo binding potential in white matter and cortical grey matter, making it a promising candidate for detecting amyloid plaques associated with Alzheimer's disease.
